5 Tips Every hCG Dieter Should Know

The hCG diet heavily restricts your calorie intake for the hCG hormone to work properly. The hCG hormone works best when there is only a limited number of calories as it will detect the calorie deficit and burn fat instead to convert energy.

Before buying multivitamin supplements, though, make sure to consult with your hCG dietitian first.

  2. Drink Lots of Water. Water is an essential part of our lives. For hCG dieters, drinking plenty of water is a must. Not only does water keep us hydrated but it also helps us control our hunger as well. Aim to consume 8-12 glasses of water per day. Don’t worry, water does not contain calories.

  3. A Little Bit of Exercise. Exercise is good for the body. Conventional knowledge would state that you should never exercise when you’re on the hCG diet but that has since been changed. It is now okay to exercise during the hCG diet, provided that you do not do more than 30 minutes of exercise. By simply walking around the block, jogging, running a bit, or even doing the Tabata sets, that should be enough exercise when you’re on the hCG diet.

  4. Prepare Your Own Food. It is tempting to call for a food delivery service because we live in a rather busy world. But if you’re on the hCG diet, you should scrap this habit immediately. Foods ordered outside can be tempting because it is delicious. The problem is that it contains a lot more calories than you should be taking, and when you’re on the hCG diet, you should be counting the number of calories you put in. Prepare your own food instead. Not only will you have complete freedom on what to eat, you can also assure yourself that you’re not putting in ingredients that contain a lot of calories.

  5. Fiber is Key. In just about any diet, Fiber is one of the most important keys to success. If you’re on the hCG diet, aim to consume at least 20 grams of dietary fiber per day. Fiber can be acquired from fruits and vegetables.
